After the Aachtopf spring the Gallus spring ist the strongest spring of the western part of the Swabian Alb. It is located in Lauerttal, a beautiful tributary of the Danube valley. The source is easily accessible and is located on the outskirts of Veringenstadt-Hermentingen. Due to their strong outflow the Gallus spring was integrated in 1952 into the water supply of the water purpose association Zollernalb group. Therefore, the amount of water outflow you see today is only a fraction of the total outflow of the spring.
