Kolbingen Cave

 On 28 August the 24th Info centre of the Geopark was opened with the audience of the chief administrative officer Stefan Bär and the mayor Konstantin Braun from Kolbingen. The infocentre is the 3rd facility og the Geopark in the county Tuttlingen, which informs about the geological highlights in the region. 

The Kolbinger Cave is a natural landmark and the only show cave in the south-western Alb. It has a total length of 330m, 88m of which is accessible. The cave has an abundance of stalactites and stalagmites.

Guided tours are possible by prior arrangement during the week. A rock cabin offering refreshments and a covered barbecue area invite visitors to take a leisurely break. There is a wonderful view of the Danube valley from the viewpoint at the rock cabin.

Opening hours
April to October on Sat, Sun and public holidays. Weekdays groups are welcome at any time by prior arranagement.
