Caves and their history

The Karls- and Bärenhöhle caves as well as the Nebelhöhle cave in Sonnenbühl show how different the caves of the Swabian Alb are, even in direct neighbourhood. They are discovery sites and tell us about extinct cave bears. On a tour through the two caves, you can also marvel at fascinating dripstone formations.

Our dual information centre shows that caves are important witnesses of history and extraordinarily diverse.
