It’s just a number, but one that makes us happy: The UNESCO Global Geopark Schwäbische Alb recently reached 3,000 followers on Instagram.

Amid the daily flood of information, images, and news online and given the specialized nature of our topic – it’s anything but a given that we’ll be noticed.

That’s why we’re all the more delighted that Geopark topics are sparking interest and that more and more people are following our work—from geological features and fascinating stories from Earth’s history to education, sustainability, and the diverse activities of the UNESCO Global Geopark Schwäbische Alb.

For us, 3,000 followers are, above all, 3,000 small signs that what we do is reaching people.
