Dreifürstensteinschule in Münsingen
On March 6, 2026, the Dreifürstenstein School in Münsingen was officially designated a Geopark School of the UNESCO Global Geopark Swabian Alb. The school is a state-recognized special education and counseling center (SBBZ) with a focus on physical and motor development.
The award recognizes the school's commitment to integrating topics such as nature, geological history, and sustainability into its teaching in a practical way and to using the Geopark as a learning space. The Geopark now sees the students as ambassadors for their region, showing how valuable the landscape of the Swabian Alb is.
Further projects are planned for the future, for example on the topics of caves, stones, and sustainability. In addition, the students want to test the accessibility of geopoints in the region and pass on their experiences to the Geopark.
