The Donauberglandweg (approx. 60 km) was the first hiking trail on the Swabian Alb in January 2008 with the quality label "Qualitätsweg Wanderbares Deutschland". Starting at "Lemberg", the highest mountain of the Swabian Alb (1,015 m), at Gosheim, it leads directly to Beuron, the world-famous monastery in the Upper Danube Nature Park. On the four stages are about 4,500 heights of ascents and descents along the Albtrauf and through the "Swabian Grand Canyon", the Upper Danube Valley to cope. Dreamlike beautiful views alternate with idyllic quiet valleys, wide plateaus with narrow paths through a varied natural landscape.
