Cave Adventure World Giengen-Hürben
Travelling back in time with the cave bear
The Cave House at the foot of the „Charlottenhöhle“ (Charlotte‘s Cave) provides a fascinating insight into the Earth‘s history going back over many millions of years. It is an interesting and entertaining information centre presenting the special features of the local karst landscape as well as the beginnings of human art and culture more than 35,000 years ago. The exhibition in the Cave House is an excellent preparation for the visit to the „Charlottenhöhle“, the largest accessible show cave in southern Germany with 587 metres of walkways.
There is a recreation area around the Cave House featuring an event space, a mysterious installation that lures visitors into the world of sounds, a world of caves, a water playground and many more exciting things to discover. The path leading to the cave entrance is a fascinating journey through time for both adults and children and then it‘s into the cave bears‘ kingdom, back into the past. The unique multimedia show and exhibition „Fascination Cave.Man.Nature“ can be enjoyed all year round.
