Open-Air Museum Beuren

The open-air museum is situated between the castles of Teck and Hohenneuffen. The history of life and work both in the Neckar valley and on the Swabian Alb can be explored in the museum village. More than 20 original buildings were shifted to here. In this typical Alb village a limestone oven indicates the effort to gain quicklime from the White Jurassic limestone. A soil nature trail leads through the soil landscape of the escarpment. audioguides in English are available.
