The Urach Waterfall can be found in the middle of the Maisen valley, on the edge of Bad Urach. It is probably the most beautiful waterfall in the Swabian Alb. The karst spring drops from a height of 37 m in free fall and then runs another 50 m over a steep, moss-covered cushion of limestone tufa into the valley.
Various well-signposted hiking paths lead from the car park next to the B28 or the Waterfall railway station to the Urach Waterfall or to the neighbouring Güterstein Waterfalls (walking time approx. 30 to 45 minutes).
